I am Liam's Mom, and my sister Kath...Dear Sara,<br />I am Liam's Mom, and my sister Kathy immediately called when she saw the incredible job you did on Liam's "ganky" as he calls it--still! Credit should also go to my OTHER sister in Boston who originally made the blanket for Liam as an infant. Mary Elizabeth Higgins(Liz) is an incredible knitter/crocheter as well. I wish I could say the same for myself. She is a MSW(Master's in Social Work) in a small school outside of Boston. She knits socks, blankets, and hats for children in local hospitals who would otherwise have none to go home in. I am so in awe of what you do, Sara, and especially enjoyed what you wrote about the power of love and the ability to "ravel it back" up again with lots of support. As you can tell, I dig my sisters to the max!!! I,myself am going through a particularly rough patch in my life, and this blanket has helped to restore my faith in the kindness and goodness of people and my soul. Thank you, Sara. He has loved it to death (as is obvious from the wear it showed before Sara did her magic. He's so happy to see it returned and immediately snuggled up in it as I drove him back to his mom's house after picking it up at the knit shop. Thanks, Sara, for all the work.Ibu Ketyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06285622969448706892noreply@blogger.com
